The Discover 2 Decide Experience

We have carefully crafted an experience for high school juniors and seniors that is helpful, unique, and directional.

The Discover 2 Decide Experience has been curated with your high school junior or senior in mind. Instead of starting with the question of “WHERE?” they will go to college, we flip the question to first begin with “WHO” is your student. Once your student is guided to answer “WHO” they are and “HOW” they are unique, the question of “WHAT” they will study and “WHERE” they might go to college becomes readily apparent.

Our approach consists of two parts. In the Discovery Phase, we begin with the uncovering of your student’s individual dreams and giftedness, creating greater self-awareness and new language to express their uniqueness. In the Decision Phase, we use the discovery insights to guide your student through a series of activities that provide a foundation for selecting a college major and, with some additional research, a college that fits them.

We have created the 3.5 hour Experience to encompass both the Discovery and Decision-Making Phases.

The Discover 2 Decide Experience includes:

  1. Approximately an hour of online prep work for your student, completed at least a week prior to the group session, along with a companion section for parents to contribute,

  2. A 30-minute one-on-one call with one of our experienced team members and your student to determine their unique talents, and

  3. A 2-hour group workshop that is limited to 20 student participants.

Throughout the Discover 2 Decide Experience, we will facilitate discussions between you and your student to help process their learnings so that they are grounded in greater awareness and reality. A few days after the conclusion of the group workshop, you will both receive an online Discover 2 Decide playbook that captures all your student’s learnings so that they will have a customized guidebook to help determine their next best step.
